Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after her hometown. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father and mother also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder relocated with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There was no electricity. Ryder was a prolific reader due to the absence of television. Ryder started taking classes in acting in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983, when she was 12. Lucas was let go in 1986, and Ryder who was just 15 years old, was offered an acting job as a lead actor. Ryder faced bullying during her teenage years. She hoped that her career in acting would end this. Unfortunately, that did not occur. Still, she pursued her dream. In 1988, when Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that was her breakthrough. Ryder continued to be successful in her roles in many movies. He was nominated for two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
