The Whitney album released in 1987 that featured songs like The Bodyguard, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to continue her popularity. But it is The Bodyguard of 1992 that was her breakthrough album and made her one of the biggest-selling performers in the history of music. Although the film was not very well received, nor was her performance, the soundtrack of the film's Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You hit the number one spot on both singles and albums charts in America for months. She sold 44,000,000 copies. The daughter of her mother Bobbi was born in March of 1993, a year she got married to Bobby Brown. Her daily drug usage was well documented.
